"Unused Guns"

This is my latest piece. I really like. It revolves around a contraversial issue. I chose to use the second amendement as my contrivesial issue. The right to bear arms for those who don't know. I think the colors and the "webbed effect" over the guns worked well. Oh and by the way if you cant tell I support the second amendment.

This is a close up of the area around the hout glue cube.

The Creation

This is when I first started on a piecec of ccanvas board.

Hot Glue Piece

This is a piece that I did instead of doing the baroque period project. I think this could be the best piece that i have done. I think the effect that the painted strings give is relly cool. Im relly pleased with how it turned out. I first took hot glue and placed it in the pattern that it appears to have and then kept layering it up until I liked the height. Then I added a cube, made out of hot glue that I made earlier, on top of a screw. Finaly I spray painted everything black, then went over it with a thin layer of red spray paint, and then misted it with white.

Altered Book "Stuck Screws"

This is another altered book piece. I took hot glue and a spread it all over the surface of a gessoed page, then while it was hot i stuck 11 drywall screws in it, then spray p[ainted it black, and then misted it with a green.

Altered Book

This is my duck that drew for my altered book. It had to be a catoon, so drew a duck that I had doodled on a math test before. I drew it on an open page that hadn't been gessoed, then paited it and then outlined it in black ink.

Precisionism

This is my Precisionism piece. I took a photogragh of some steps outside of school, and then drew an upclose image of them on a piece of canvas board. Then I took hot glue and made the texture of the grass. Then I took hot glue again and made the outline of the steps, but before the glue cooled, and while it was still hot, I took sand and poured it over them to get the texture of concrete. After that I just painted over it all with tempra paint just like a piece of paper in the image of the steps. Im relly pleased with the way the texture came out.

Cubism

This is my cubism inspired piece. It came from a still life that was drawn from observation. I took white pieces of paper, and splattered paint over them. I then cut out pieces from the still life that I drew and then traced them over the splattered peices of paper. Then I painted arount the edges to give them definition, and then outlined them with a silver sharpie.

Gustav Klimt Inspired

This is my Gustav Klimt inspired piece. I like to splatter paint and it made great patterens for this project. This took forever to tape off the squares to paint and splatter over them. I used the paper that I used to to cover the paper and cut them out into the shapes of the figure. Im pleased with the way it turned out.

Triptych

This is my remake of my triptych. I was messing around with some hot glue on canvas board, and spay paint it , and then splattered paint on it. I think it turned out alot better than my other one.

Graphic Design

This is my Graphic Design project. This is the way i perciev the word confusion. My color scheme is blue with the complement (opposite) of blue, orange.

Triptych

This is my latest project. Its called a triptych (three panels.) I liked the idea of the eyeball and i thought it would look interesting if it was hanging from a spider web.

Primary Color Mosaic

This is my glass mosaic project. I think it turned out really good. The plain silver frame accents the colors well. I like the image transferr behind the glass

Painting and Image Transfer

This is my image transfer project. I think the car looks good but the background seems to be just a painting to fill space. It also lacks a color scheme
